Help Us Pave the Way

Building Safer, Smarter Communities

Support the Permanent Community Traffic Garden at Highland Elementary

Imagine a place where kids can safely learn how to cross the street, ride their bikes, and understand traffic signs—beforethey ever have to do it in real life. That’s the vision behind the Friends of Parks and Recreation Community Traffic Garden—and we need your help to make it permanent.

We’ve secured partial funding through generous grants and partnerships, and we’ve already seen the impact of our mobile pop-up events. Now it’s time to build a permanent, inclusive, and interactive Traffic Garden on the grounds of Highland Elementary School in Clarkston.

What Your Donation Supports

Your contribution will help us complete essential pieces of the project, including:

  • It’s inclusive. We’re committed to providing adaptive rolling equipment so every child, regardless of ability, can participate.

  • It’s community-powered. Built by and for the families of Asotin and Garfield Counties—with your help.
